Birthdays are a cause for celebration. In these challenging times, we have to sometimes be a little more creative to show kindness and appreciation to others. Who could you surprise with a note, gift, or sign of appreciation?
The Skeletons were invited to help with a special 60th special birthday surprise yesterday.
Pumpkin the Rat was excited to come along for the ride and hoping for a piece of the Birthday Cake… “maybe it’s Cheesecake!!”

Mary and her family arranged a very special birthday surprise for her sister Cathy, from the Skeletons, complete with special hats, balloons, presents and a boisterous rendition of “Happy Birthday”!
We weren’t the only ‘dressed’ up skeletons to bring birthday greetings. This sweet little skeleton brought a special homemade card for her Aunt Cathy.
Recently the skeletons surprised a few of our neighbours with birthday greetings. ’60’ was so last year (Dec 31) for Brad.
The expression on his face behind that smile reads “I am going to get you back Melissa”!
Bones is so excited to send the winner of our Day 21, ‘What’s Missing‘ contest winner a skeleton shirt. It’s less breakable and easier to mail than the promised coffee mug.
It’s being sent to skeleton fan Carolyn M – in Maryland USA. It’s not our first Skeleton shirt that has been sent south of the border!
