Ciao !!
The bags are packed and the Skeleton crew are travelling to Washington – with only 6 days left until the US Presidential Election,
There is still time for skeletons to come out of the closet for nominees.
WE DID IT! Today celebrates day 23 and 55 skeleton displays with NO REPEATS! Over the past 3 years!
Only time will tell if the skeletons will resurface next year. We would love to hear your ideas for next year’s displays!
A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED MAKE THE DISPLAYS A SUCCESS !!
Especially Linda Mae Ogilvie – Trillium Art – our late-night blogger and photo editor. The skeletons blog would never have been created without you!
CBC Radio – Fresh Air & Ontario Morning Producers – Thank you for sharing our skeleton story.
Mike Beitz – Beacon Herald – for the great photos & articles.
Chris Steingart – QT Web Design – for the SVL Logo – which is very easy to carve on a pumpkin!
Friends, neighbours, strangers – who lent props, and made suggestions. Teresa & Andy for their one-liners & Rheo Thompson Candies
My wonderful neighbours – this was one way to slow traffic on our street!
Thank you to all the skeleton fans who spread the word on social media – the response has been amazing, we now have followers in over 15 countries around the world.
Thank you to the skeleton fans who stopped by our house especially E. Lang, G & D Scott, Jule & Sloan,
This has been an incredible experience. We have met so many interesting people.
Who knew skeletons could make so many people laugh. It proves that skeletons are fun – unless you are running in the US presidential election.
We are so happy that you SMILED, LAUGHed with us, and ENJOYed the Antics
Thank you,
~ Melissa

I am fairly new to the area…and this has been wonderful. Great entertainment…my dog, Bill was very suspicious of the skeleton dogs….always giving them a big sniff, never peed on them though. Thanks for providing this fall/hallowe’en fun time.
Hello Beth & Bill – it was great meeting you during the skeleton antics. Glad you enjoyed our bone-tickling show.
Thanks so much for not peeing on them Bill!!
Because we couldn’t drive by everyday to see what antics the skeleton crew was up to we really enjoyed following them on the blog……thanks for all you work.
We had so much fun creating the displays – and glad you were able to follow along on the blog, on the days you missed driving by
I am full of admiration for the ingenuity combined with the time and effort devoted to entertaining the neighbours and passersby as well as the people who listened to CBC and followed the blog. I live in Owen Sound and forwarded it to our grandchildren who live in BC
Bob – thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to all of our skeleton crew on the lawn & behind the scenes.
This was wonderful, but so sad that I just discovered this thanks to the CBC near the end. Hope Trick and the gang have a wonderful adventure for the next 11 months and can’t wait to see them again… Um, with the wedding and all I’m wondering if there with be any “new additions” when we meet again.
We are looking forward to next year already, and already working on ideas. I guess we will know in another 9 months if there are any new additions. Thank you for your comments, glad you are part of the skeleton fan club!
I soo enjoyed the daily emails. I forwarded them off to my kids at university. They looked forward to them. Thank you. Thank you. Till next year. Ciao

Happy we were able to tickle your funny bone with the skeleton’s antics.
Gosh, are they American skeletons? I sure hope they go out and vote! 😉 thanks for all of your efforts. Magical!
They might have immigrated to Canada through the states as it says “made in China” on their leg bones….
Thank you for all your great comments, so glad you had as much fun with the skeleton antics as we did.
Hi Melissa, THANK YOU for sharing the “mysteries of the Skeletons” with us. We sure enjoyed. Marjorie liked them all! Take care to all of you! Judy
Thanks for following the fun!
