Due to weather… wind, rain, and snow there will be no skeleton display today. Our bones are weary after the last 18 days.
We would like to share with you the photos of how the Skeletons spent the rainy afternoon yesterday and hope it puts a SMILE on your face.
The Skeletons visited their good friends for happy hour at McCarthy Place Retirement Residence yesterday afternoon.
Hello Ladies!… Can we join you?
Young and young-at-heart… the Skeletons made lots of new friends!
Bones was grateful he was already dead when this ‘Cereal’ Killer grabbed his arm!
Howdy Partner! This looks like a fun table to sit for a game of cards.
Skeletons competed in the wheelchair races against Lola and Donna.
Unfortunately, the skeletons were no match for the reigning champions.
“If I lift my feet up, Donna, we should be more aerodynamic and win this race!”
The highlight of visiting McCarthy Place Retirement Residence was meeting ‘Vivian’ for whom the street that the Skeletons live on, was named after.
How amazing was that! A Halloween coincident! Vivian McManus told us about the original farmhouse her father owned, on what is now McManus Road and ‘Vivian’ Line.
Did you know this is the only street in the entire world that is named ‘Vivian Line’? That is the reason why they are called the Skeletons of Vivian Line. There will never be any confusion where the skeletons live.
SMILE… LAUGH… and ENJOY!
Thank you to all the residents for welcoming the skeletons,
and Nikki Byers, Activity Director at McCarthy Place Retirement Residence.
