Day 18, 2020 – Halloween Safety!

The Skeletons of Vivian Line working together with the Stratford Police and Huron-Perth Public Health wanted to demonstrate a few safety measures for everyone to stay safe this Halloween.

TIP #1 – Be Seen: Use a Flashlight and wear protective clothing

TIP #2 – Protect Your Bones:  Always wear a bike helmet

TIP #3 – Wear a Mask:  Try to include a non-medical mask as part of your costume.

Anyone who is sick or self-isolating must stay at home.

TIP #4 – Stay in Your Bubble:  Trick-or-Treat with your minions (household group) and leave space between you and other groups.

Please be patient and kind while waiting.

TIP #5 – Safety First:  When handing out candy, use tongs, a baking sheet, and avoid offering a shared bowl.

TIP #6 – Be Creative:  The Skeletons have improvised their own candy chute!

The minions are having so much fun catching the treats.

TIP #7 – Wash Your Hands:  Wash your hands before you go out and when you get home and before eating any treats.

TIP #8 – Check:  Have your parents check your candy before eating to ensure that it is safe.

Have fun Trick-or-Treating and stay safe!

Pumpkin is trying to make a quick get-away with some extra Doritos.

Perhaps he chose the wrong vehicle!
