Thank You to All!

The Skeletons of Vivian Line are Jumping for Joy today!

There are no words to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported the 7th season of The Skeletons of Vivian Line.

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who donated and purchased Skeleton merchandise to raise money for Operation Smile.  It is unbelievable, the generosity of Skeleton Fans over $17,000 raised, and then our amazing, kind-hearted anonymous Donor topped it off to reach a total of $30,000.

Oh, MY Gourd!! It’s INCREDIBLE!

So many children suffering from cleft lip and palate will be able to SMILE, thanks to your generosity!

Welcoming Operation Smile today for the Cheque Presentation:  Mark Climie-Elliott CEO, Operation Smile Canada, Diana Church, Director and Mary Grant, Coordinator of Community Volunteer Programs, with Melissa McKerlie and Justin Malott.

I would not be able to set up the Skeletons for 20 different displays if it wasn’t for the help of some very key people including Diane Murray, Dawn Crowley, Ken, and Deb Murray, the Schauer’s family, the Smidts family of Skeletons of Fairfield, Amy and Emerson, Lisa Kilpis, Stephen Sebben, Jacob Wolfe, Justin, It’s About Thyme Landscaping, and Tim’s Tree Care. Thanks also to Linda Mae Ogilvie, from The Virtual Trillium, for the many long hours, posting and managing the Skeletons online.

I would not be able to create a different Skeleton display every day without your help.

Justin, Melissa and Nikki Smidts, Skeletons of Fairfield

Special thanks to:
– Libby Anderson, Cobblestone Laser Engraving for the long hours spent on skeleton merchandise.
– Shona Humphrey for sewing skeleton masks
– my kind, patient neighbours for props, 911 skeleton emergencies, and putting up with additional traffic on the street
– Chris Steingart, QT Web Designs, Lindsay Molenhuis, Bevin and Kim

A special boney high five to all the skeleton fans:
– who shared the skeleton’s smiles around the world, through emails and social media
– for all the kind comments and suggestions through email and social media. It kept our weary bones going!
– Galen Simmons of the Stratford Beacon Herald, Jamie Cottle of Juice FM, Stephanie Villella of CTV News, Madeline Forsyth of Narcity Media for promoting the Skeletons.

To the kind-hearted person who wrote this chalk card on the front sidewalk – Thank you!

You made my day and I wasn’t the only one who cried after reading this!

Thank you everyone for your kindness and support so we can spread the smiles.

See you next year.
