Skeletons, Take a Bow!

THANK YOU, SKELETON FANS!!

The 9th season of the Skeletons of Vivian Line changed the lives of 85 children by raising $20,322.34 for Operation Smile Canada (at the time of this writing).
Since 2018, Skeleton Fans have given the gift of a smile to 333 children by donating over $80,000. Thank you for your generosity!  AMAZING!!

The 13 Days of Halloween Fun wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the help of some very key people this year including Diane Murray, Jamie Beaumont, Brenda and Brian Steele, the Smidt Family, Barb Myers, Akins-Brewer Lumber, Kalleigh, Ken and Deb, Grant, Jane, Lisa, Mark B, Carson N, the It’s About Thyme Landscaping team, Jamie Murray Carpentry, and Candy Keillor of Operation Smile Canada and the very generous family who donated our Halloween candy.

A huge thank you to the Dairy Farmers of Ontario for partnering with the Skeletons this year.

The Halloween Finale weekend at Skeleton Headquarters drew 1000 Skeleton Fans both young and young at heart to come to trick-or-treat and pose with the Skeletons of Vivian Line, enjoy chocolate milk, cheese strings, and receive the highly sought-after ‘milk calendars’ courtesy of the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.

There are not enough words to express my appreciation and gratitude to Frank and Heather Louwagie, their family, and the staff at Hillmanor Holsteins for hosting the family fun day at their farm. The Beaumont family, Linda McKay, the Perth County Dairy Committee, and their families, Poelman-Murray Ltd, Doug Eidt / Ace Country Hardware, Janice Danen / Dairy Educator, and Skeletons Powered by Milk t-shirt designer Tayla Anderson, 101 The Ranch, New Morning Holsteins, and Cass’ Custom Detailing.

Thank you to the organizing committee that put together this event in less than 18 days. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, it was an amazing, free family event with fun for all ages. 2000 people came out to tour this ultra-modern dairy barn, enjoy the food trucks, artisan cheeses and ice cream, and play in the straw maze.
It was so well organized – they even arranged perfect weather!

Special thanks to Linda Mae Ogilvie, from The Virtual Trillium who spends many long hours managing the Skeletons online world.

Thanks, Libby Anderson of Cobblestone Custom T’s who creates the must-have Skeleton merchandise with all proceeds going to Operation Smile Canada.

A special boney high five to:

Thanks to all my neighbours for putting up with my antics!

Thank you to the kind person who sent me a new spider.  I am sorry to say that the missing signs were not a joke, Spidey did crawl away against his will.

I am so grateful to everyone who supports the Skeletons of Vivian Line antics and sharing the smiles around the world.

2023 will celebrate 10 years since the Skeletons arrived at our front door. Thanks to Carson G. – who submitted a brilliant idea for next year’s displays– our bones are shaking with excitement!  Let the planning begin!

The Skeletons return in 339 days!!

Smile… Laugh… and Enjoy!
